Issue #11, April/May 2006
Well the weather is starting to cool down now as the winter months get closer. We are still getting some lovely sunny days, some with temperatures in the high 20’s. The nice thing about it being colder in the middle of the year is that we get to celebrate Christmas twice. “Christmas in July’ is very popular in Perth and only 4 weeks away. In fact we have already booked our office party!!
OK so what have been the changes during April & May?
Well if you have not visited the site for a while take a look now! I am busy making changes to the navigation bar at the left side of the web pages. I am trying to make it a little easier to find your way round the site. Immigrate Perth has over 200 pages now, a lot to keep track of. Anyway I am organising pages into themes and including a themed menu on each page. So let me know what you think? The idea is to make the site as user friendly for you as I can so any suggestions are welcome. Each e-zine I would like to include a new migrant story. To talk to migrants and bring you their migration experience. If you have a story to share please use this link and drop me a line. It would be great to do a feature each issue on someone new so do get in touch. I need you to help me on this one 🙂
By including an FAQ page I can include responses to the most asked questions with links to another resource until I have time to cover an area in more detail. So if you have any questions you would like featured then just fill in the form on the FAQ page Probably something considered by many migrants. The family car is one of those things that generally gets left behind. If you have a little gem that is part of the family then here is a few links to help you decide if it is worth taking your car with you. Please click here to read more about Can I Take my Car to Australia If your looking for a short term furnished property rental for your first few weeks in Perth (or if you are holidaying in Perth) then Seahaven Vista is worth checking out Seahaven Vista is beautifuly decorated and would be a great place to start your life in Perth. Ideal if you are a couple or a small family. At this one bedroom luxury appartment you can now pay for six nights and stay seven. Visit The Beeches Connolly The Perth Blog has been updated with a new link. I will be making an extra big effort to bring you regular updates on what is happening in the news/property market and on the migration front. So if you want to see what is already there??
Thats all folks for the April/May edition of Life in Perth.
I look forward to you joining me in June, when I will be telling you more exciting stuff about Life in Perth. :- Take care until then. S&G 🙂 xxxx
