The C Restaurant can be found at level 33 of ST Martins Tower which is situated high above the Perth CBD. This was fun in itself for us as we got a little confused finding the entrance. There is a flash entrance (for a car park that was not well marked) at the bottom of St Martins tower. From here you get an escorted ride up to the 33 floor. We arrived to be seated just in time to see the sun set over the Perth metropolitan area. The restaurant has a revolving floor with full length windows where you can see a continuous breathtaking view over the Swan River, Kings Park, Rottnest Island and the Darling Ranges. But for watching the sun set over Perth the other bonus about eating early at the C Restaurant is that if you book your table for 6pm Monday – Thursday and Sunday. Then you can choose any two courses from the a la carte menu for $55 per person. You need to vacate the table by 8pm but you are welcome to retire to the cocktail lounge. This is what we did and the bill for four drinks included was just over $300. We got lucky and were allowed to stay at the table until gone 8.30pm ……but then the speed of the service it was just as well. We thought it was expensive (especially as they tried to charge us $65 instead of $50 for two courses and made a surcharge if you paid on credit card) but I have to admit the food was good. Its just a shame the service was not up to the same standard. The view is unbeatable so we will definitely be going there again just as soon as we get our next visitors from the UK. Lets hope we are a little more impressed with the service then. Review written 2004
